A lovely paddle into the estuary. A little choppy on the seafront and through the mouth of the estuary but mirror calm further inland and sheltered by the hills. Helped by the tide on the way upstream. A little against the tide on the way back but son paddled through slack water and then had a bit of a help for the last mile or so.
